Kate Lawson-Gould
Born and raised in England to theatrical parents, Kate Lawson-Gould spent her early life combining formal school with the gypsy-like life of touring theatre. She spent many years watching, learning and performing in the regular stream of pantomimes in which her parents performed. As a result of her unique upbringing, Kate's love for all aspects of theatre and story telling was fostered at an early age.
After completing an honours degree in Music and Drama at Bristol University, Kate began a varied and international career. Kate's worldly and diverse career highlights include roles such as performing as a cabaret dancer in Portugal, performing as an opera singer with the New Israeli Opera and performing under the baton of great conductors such as Zubin and Mehta.
Having met and married her Australian husband, Philip Gould whilst performing in the stage production of "Showboat", the two travelled the world as principals with the Stadium Theatre Company.
In addition to her active career as a performer, Kate has also turned her energies to other elements of the theatrical arts such as composition, directing, choreography and teaching.
